1. Scope of the partnership
The partner helps authors prepare, submit, revise and follow their manuscripts at Journal of Education and Teaching Learning. The partner acts for authors who have authorised it and does not represent the editorial office of Journal of Education and Teaching Learning.
2. Editorial decisions stay independent
Partnership status, commission or the number of manuscripts never affect editorial decisions. Every manuscript goes through the same initial check, peer review and editor's decision as any other. The partner must not promise authors acceptance, a publication date or a review outcome.
3. Publication ethics
The partner follows the publication ethics of Journal of Education and Teaching Learning and COPE. The partner must not write manuscripts for authors (ghostwriting), manipulate authorship or citations, fabricate data, submit the same manuscript to another journal at the same time, or contact editors and reviewers to influence a decision. A breach ends the partnership and the manuscripts concerned are checked again.
4. Author consent and data
The partner submits a manuscript only with the written consent of all its authors. The authors remain the owners of the manuscript and responsible for its content. Authors' personal data may be used only to handle their manuscripts at Journal of Education and Teaching Learning and must be kept confidential.
5. Commission
The partner's commission is set by the journal manager (the default rate or a rate agreed for this partner) and added as a "Partner service fee" line to the APC invoice of affiliated authors. Authors see this fee openly before they pay. Commission is earned on APC invoices that have been paid, and becomes withdrawable once the manuscript reaches the stage the journal sets and the holding period has passed. It is cancelled if the APC is refunded or waived.
6. Withdrawals
Withdrawals are requested from the partner area under the journal's rules (minimum balance, maximum per request and request dates). After approval the money is transferred to the partner's registered bank account with a transfer receipt. Any tax on the commission is the partner's responsibility under the applicable rules.
7. Accounts and security
Every person managing the partner uses their own account. The partner is responsible for everything done from its members' accounts and must tell the editorial office at once if an account is misused.
8. Changes and termination
Journal of Education and Teaching Learning may change these terms; the partner is asked to accept the new version before requesting further withdrawals. The journal may suspend or end the partnership if these terms are breached. Commission earned on paid manuscripts is still paid out, unless the partnership ends because of an ethics breach.
Partner rules
- Partners are independent third parties who help authors prepare and submit manuscripts. They are not part of the journal's editorial team.
- Editors and reviewers of this journal cannot become partners.
- Partners see only what the author sees. Peer review stays double-blind, decisions follow COPE, and neither the partner nor its fee affects the decision.
- A partner found breaking these rules is banned: the account is closed, it cannot register again, and it is listed as banned.
