Editorial decision
The editor considers the reports and records an appropriate decision: accept, revision, resubmission, or decline.
Revision & verification
Authors respond point by point and submit a revised manuscript. Further evaluation may be requested.
Production & publication
Accepted work proceeds through production and is published open access under the journal’s license.
Editorial independence
Commercial considerations and author identity do not determine scholarly decisions.
Confidentiality
Unpublished content and reviewer identities are protected throughout the process.
Appeals & concerns
Authors may submit a reasoned appeal or ethical concern with supporting evidence to the editorial office.
