Manuscripts may be screened using similarity-detection tools. Similarity results are assessed in context and do not automatically determine whether plagiarism has occurred. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and inappropriate reuse of published content may result in rejection or further action under the journal's publication ethics policy.

8.3. Artificial Intelligence

Authors may use artificial intelligence tools responsibly for appropriate writing assistance. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and citations in their manuscripts. AI tools must not be listed as authors or used to fabricate data, references, research results, or ethics approvals.

Substantive use of generative AI in producing manuscript content should be disclosed in accordance with the journal's applicable AI policy. Authors must protect confidential manuscripts, identifiable participant data, and restricted research information when using third-party tools.

9. Publication Assistance Partners

MJPJETL, published by PT Media Jurnal dan Pendidikan, may facilitate access to independent publication assistance partners through an authorized partnership program, where applicable. The program is intended to help authors access professional assistance in preparing manuscripts and meeting technical publication requirements.

Services may include language editing, manuscript formatting, reference checking, similarity report assistance, submission guidance, and other services within the partner's declared scope of work.

9.1. Voluntary Use of Partner Services

The use of publication assistance partners is voluntary. Authors are not required to use a partner to submit, review, or publish a manuscript in MJPJETL. Authors may prepare their manuscripts independently or obtain assistance from other qualified service providers.

9.2. Scope and Limitations

Publication assistance partners must not:

1. Guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication.
2. Claim authority over editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes.
3. Fabricate data, references, research findings, or ethics approvals.
4. Engage in plagiarism or unauthorized authorship arrangements.
5. Misrepresent their relationship with MJPJETL or its publisher.
6. Submit or modify manuscripts without appropriate author authorization.

9.3. Author Responsibility

Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, research ethics, authorship, and final approval of their manuscripts, regardless of whether they use partner services. Any third-party assistance must be acknowledged or disclosed where required.

9.4. Editorial Independence

MJPJETL maintains editorial independence in all manuscript evaluations and publication decisions. Partnership status does not provide preferential treatment or influence editorial screening, reviewer selection, peer-review assessments, or final decisions.

9.5. Fees and Financial Transparency

Fees for publication assistance services are separate from the journal's official Article Processing Charges (APCs), unless explicitly stated otherwise in an official written policy. Authors should review service descriptions, fees, payment terms, and refund conditions before purchasing any service. Payment for a partner service does not guarantee acceptance or preferential editorial treatment.

9.6. Communication and Manuscript Tracking

Where an authorized partner dashboard or manuscript tracking facility is available, authors and partners may use it to monitor service progress, exchange feedback, and coordinate manuscript preparation.

Access to submission information is subject to author authorization, applicable permissions, and the journal's privacy and confidentiality requirements. Partners must not access confidential reviewer identities, unpublished reviewer reports, or restricted editorial information unless expressly authorized under applicable procedures.

9.7. Privacy and Confidentiality

Authors and partners must protect personal information, unpublished manuscripts, research data, login credentials, and other confidential materials. Information must be handled only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy policies and laws.

9.8. Complaints and Misconduct

Authors may report misleading service claims, unauthorized charges, misuse of personal information, or other misconduct involving a partner through the journal's official communication channels. The journal may review reported concerns and take appropriate action within its authority, including suspending or terminating a partnership where justified.

9.9. No Guarantee of Publication

The use of partner services does not guarantee acceptance, a positive peer-review recommendation, or publication in MJPJETL. All editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the authorized journal editors and are based on scholarly merit, ethical compliance, and the journal's publication requirements.

10. Peer-Review Process

MJPJETL applies a double-blind peer-review process. Author identities are concealed from reviewers, and reviewer identities are concealed from authors during the review process.

1. Initial Screening: The editorial office checks completeness, scope, formatting, anonymization, originality, and basic ethical compliance.
2. Editorial Assessment: The editor evaluates the manuscript's relevance, contribution, and readiness for peer review.
3. Peer Review: Manuscripts proceeding to external review are evaluated by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise.
4. Editorial Decision: Possible decisions include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
5. Revision: Authors must address editorial and reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript where required.
6. Production: Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, and publication preparation.

Reviewer recommendations do not guarantee acceptance. The final editorial decision rests with the authorized editor.

11. Submission Procedure
