Authors may appeal an editorial decision, and anyone may complain about the journal's processes, staff or published content.
- Appeals are sent to [email protected] within 30 days of the decision, with a clear explanation and new evidence or a response to the reviewers' comments.
- Appeals are handled by an editor who was not involved in the original decision, who may seek another independent review. The appeal decision is final.
- Complaints are acknowledged within a week and investigated following COPE guidance; the complainant is told the outcome.
