Every manuscript submitted to Journal of Education and Teaching Learning is checked for similarity with published and online sources before peer review, and again before publication.
- The similarity report is read by the editor; the overall percentage alone does not decide the outcome, but copied text, ideas or figures without attribution are not accepted.
- Self-plagiarism and redundant publication (reusing substantial parts of the authors' own published work without citation) are treated as plagiarism.
- Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity are returned to the authors or declined; plagiarism found after publication is handled under the corrections and retractions policy.
