Corrections and retractions

Aligned with COPE Core Practices

Journal of Education and Teaching Learning keeps the scholarly record accurate by publishing post-publication notices that are linked to the original article.

  • Correction (erratum): published when an error affects part of the article but not its conclusions.
  • Expression of concern: published while an investigation into serious doubts is ongoing.
  • Retraction: published when findings are unreliable because of misconduct or honest error, or when the article is plagiarised or redundant. The retracted article stays online, clearly marked, with the reason for retraction.
  • Requests can come from authors, readers or institutions and are sent to [email protected]; decisions follow COPE's retraction guidelines.
