Changes in Machining Students’ Learning Outcomes Following CAM Design and Simulation Video Tutorials

Pembelajaran Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) di SMK masih banyak mengandalkan penjelasan lisan dan bahan ajar tertulis, padahal materi CAM bersifat prosedural, visual, dan membutuhkan demonstrasi langkah kerja secara berurutan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh video tutorial desain dan simulasi CAM terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 1 Singosari. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental tipe one-group pretest-posttest yang melibatkan 34 siswa melalui teknik total sampling. Perlakuan diberikan dalam lima pertemuan melalui video tutorial yang mencakup pembuatan desain, pemilihan pahat dan material, pengaturan parameter pemesinan, pembuatan toolpath, simulasi, dan verifikasi proses CAM. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes praktik, rubrik penilaian analitik, dan kuesioner skala Likert. Validitas isi diuji melalui expert judgment menggunakan Aiken’s V dengan nilai rata-rata 0,948. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji Shapiro-Wilk, paired-samples t-test, Cohen’s , dan Normalized Gain. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 57,09 menjadi 90,50. Uji paired-samples t-test menghasilkan t = −32,012 dan p < 0,001, dengan Cohen’s = 5,49 yang menunjukkan efek sangat besar. Rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,78, dengan 97,1% siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial CAM efektif meningkatkan pemahaman prosedural, hasil belajar, dan kemandirian siswa.
