At a glance
- Working with a partner is optional.
- The partner's fee appears on your invoice as "Fee Services" before you pay.
- Partners never influence the review or the decision.
- You remain the author and responsible for the manuscript.
Partners are organisations and individuals approved by Journal of Education and Teaching Learning to assist authors. They can help with language, the template, the submission form, revisions and following the manuscript. They work for you, not for the editorial office.
Choosing a partner
- Browse the journal's partners and their services.
- Ask a partner for assistance from that page, or use the referral link a partner gave you.
- Agree with the partner on what they will do for you before they start.
- Give your written consent for the partner to submit or revise on your behalf. Every co-author must agree too.
A partner's referral link is remembered for 7 days while you register and submit.
What a partner may do
- Help you prepare the manuscript in the journal template and check the language.
- Submit the manuscript for you and follow it on the tracking page.
- Help you answer the reviewers and upload the revision.
- See the invoice of your manuscript.
What a partner may not do
- Promise acceptance, a publication date or a review outcome.
- Write the manuscript for you, add or remove authors, or change data and citations.
- Contact editors or reviewers to influence a decision.
Report anything like this to [email protected]. See publication ethics and the partner terms.
The partner's fee
The partner's commission is added to your publication fee as a separate "Fee Services" line. You see it on the invoice before you pay, it is taxed like the other lines, and it is listed on your receipt. Fees for language or other services agreed directly with the partner are a matter between you and the partner. If your paid fee is refunded, the partner service fee is refunded with it.
Your responsibility
You remain the author. The content, the authorship and the declarations in the manuscript are your responsibility, whoever submitted it. Read the author guidelines and the publication fee page as well.
